Specifically, Dizzy and Stretch.
These guys are supporting cast from a picture called Rock & Rule, a very underrated Canadian piece released in 1983. Like the name suggests, the movie involves a lot of rock music and an evil plot to take over the world. I might as well make it perfectly clear right now that I have an intense crush on Dizzy. He's The Fat One, The Smart One, and the drummer (which would have been enough to buy my affection in and of itself), and was also working that pseudo-samurai hairstyle a good ten years before Hellboy got around to it. Also: pink jacket. Stretch is The Goofball, a character which I usually loathe, but in his case I make an exception. I suspect he's the bassist, but he's some sort of guitar-shaped instrument-ist at the very least. The background here is just a screenshot. Yaaay for the 80s  |
