Ranma and Akane from Ranma 1/2.

It's actually shocking to me that I haven't uploaded anything of them before. I say this because Ranma and Akane are my OTP. While not my first ship, they are my OTP, forever and ever amen. Some of you know what I mean. So even if I rarely draw them anymore, that doesn't mean they have been or could be demoted.

Anyway, a dozen sketches for you of my favourite anime pairing. I kind of like the way the two coloured ones came out. NOSESQUISH! (my new favourite thing.)

I could come up with a story for all of these, I suspect, but they're all pretty classic RanAka.

I will talk about a couple, though, so if you've never seen the show, you can stop reading here and I won't be offended.

First, the top right one has got to be something like, Anything Goes Ballroom Dancing. You'll notice Akane is leading. This is because I drew it backwards, but I'm retconning it into saying it's because Ranma had to train with Kuno as a girl because no one else knew how to dance, but then Kuno gets knocked out of the competetion and Akane has to take over as his partner. But horrors - Ranma learned as a girl and can't lead! Fortunately for him, Akane's tomboy nature shines through and she takes over, leading them to victory. Or almost victory, as Ranma 1/2 goes. I wanna write this as a fanfic now.

Secondly, the bottommost left sketch - this is just my take on Akane's habit of getting kidnapped by princes who want to marry her and dress her up in fanservicey outfits. Ranma has to come rescue her, of course. She never really gets this girly about it, but that's my artistic license. I've always wanted to write a fanfic with this whole general theme, too.

Aw, what a couple of cuties. It's just gotta be love.
