Princess and Knight - Relief

So, a couple people (two) mentioned that this sketch from this: [link] was particularly cute. Then, asked me if I could maybe colour this one. And because she asked very nicely - I could.

There are ... anatomy issues. I redrew this version over the old one - something I hate to do, but this was from October and that's too old for me to not do touch-ups. The distressingly observant amongst you will notice that I redrew several things - Aster's head, for one. Also, the original sketch was drawn before I added the blue drape to Aster's dress, and I liked the way the cloth was bunched up in the sketch so I just left it out.

The title comes from the fact that, in my mind, this has definitely evolved into one of those I-thought-you-were-dead moments. While I didn't actually know it at the time, this is exactly what would happen. Aster would be all, 'Yay, you're alive ' while Dante is still going 'omgomgomg T_T'

Dante looks like an amputee. What went wrooong? This really needs more tweaking, for stuff like that, but it's crazy late at night and my arm is killing me. I surrender.

Feel free to make up convoluted reasons why they might have thought the other was dead. All I've got is "Rocks Fell" or "Stuff Caught On Fire". LAME.
