I'm so behind the ball on this. But the short version is that I'm (finally) doing the Hatter25 devised by
, based upon ideas by
. These ladies are the people we want to be like when we grow up, children.
Because I'm a loser, I'm doing them in order, and I'm also posting them in twos 'cause it's a lot easier for me to upload half as many files - also it forces me to finish two at a time instead of dragging my rear. So here are themes one and two, 'Morning and Evening'. (The first half-dozen themes are pairs anyway, so lucky me!)
Also being loserly, they will probably all appear as sketches, although I may go back and colour/individually post some of them, depending on how far I get before school starts.
About these two:
Morning: you know you're going to have a good day if the purple squirrels are waiting by your bed in the morning. I promise you that that pajama shirt is purple with pink polka dots, and I swear with equal assurance that the trousers are an orange and blue plaid. Even though there is no colour, you must believe me.
Evening: I want to read that comic now. That's all I really have to say. Oh - except, do you immediately connect moths as being an enemy of all hats and jackets? It seemed obvious to me at first, but now I'm thinking I devised my own myth.
