I am so all about MickeyxMinnie right now, it's absurd. So I been practicing! While drawing characters off-model is all well and good, it's a pretty crummy cop-out if you couldn't draw them at all properly to start with. So now I've got about two thousand sketches of of these guys and while I'm not there yet, I'm making progress.

Before anybody asks, yes, I've also tried my hand at Goofy (much easier) and Donald (much harder), but neither is at a level I'm pleased with just yet - but I'll keep at it!

Haha, the best thing about this drawing is that Mick could actually be wearing his regular red shorts, but you'll never even know. It's a mystery.

I love the mystery of the red shorts...especially with those boots XD

I am also on a huge MickeyXMinnie kick...a truer OTP there never was.

Excellent work. Mickey looks very dashing and heroic. Minnie looks a little off to me, but terrific nonetheless.

You know, it's funny, for being who they are you really don't see as much MickeyxMinnie art as you do other Disney characters. It makes me sad.

This, however, makes me happy. It's really cute and Minnie looks lovely in purple. And you captured the character so well, I'm greatly impressed.

I know, right? I think the reason is that I still made Minnie too cutesy - wider eyes, smaller, lower nose - when she's really Mickey with eyelashes.

Something about the way you use your brushes is amazing. This picture looks so soft and warm (even thought the theme is quite daring! :heart:) and it just calls to mind all sorts of illustrations I loved in children's books. This could easily have come from a Disney art collection book, I am so impressed it's rediculous!
