Guess what movie I watched this weekend?
Seriously, though, Bernard and Bianca are incredibly cute. And also difficult to draw. I'm such rubbish at everything besides people. But I had to tryyyy... For some weird reason, I adore the concept of the gorgeous girl with a chubby awkward guy in animation, but the very same thing drives me batty in sitcoms. I think it must be because sitcom husbands are always really dense and thoughtless, (how is that funny?) whereas the cartoon guys are universally sweet and appealing. And they wear really really cute hats, as often as not. Bernard and Miss Bianca belong to Disney, of course, and whoever wrote the original books. My mind is blank. |

I agree, Gorgeous girl and Chubby Awkward Guy is a great pairing in animation it's just so warm and pure, but like you said, sitcoms.....aren't as nice, why dumb them down? *shrugs* I guess they think it isn't original or something?
Anyway! Great work on this. Although you say you only focus on drawing human characters you've done an excellent job on these two.
