OH WHAT IS THAT HER NEW ALICEHATTER THING I THINK IT IS.
AlicexHatter123, prompts 1-4, in glorious glorious technicolour. 01. "when you say nothing at all" - - This is a really sweet song, and I thought I might as well draw something cutesy and nice and nonchalant and awkward and isthatherhand, omg, isthatherhand? haha background, you suck. Also, totally obvious hidden Mickey! See it yet? You will. 02. losing my religion - - In my initial information-gathering for this one, I was told (by Wikipedia) that this phrase comes from a southern expression meaning to completely lose one's temper beyond the point of civility or restraint. That was way too good an image to pass up. Maybe something more arm-flaily would be more appropriate, but the kind of angry where all your energy goes into your face and voice is scarier. Of these four, this one is my favourite. 03. frog - - Another fun one. This dress is, of course, not my design - I stole it from another princess. I don't know how much of it is concept art and how much is final design, but I hope it's final because this is a lily pad dress and it is made of win. I like the face and hands and that stupid tiny-big hat. 04. ribbon - - The original version of this had Reg in it, but he looked really creepy and was also kind of in the way (sorry, lovey) since my idea really focused on Alice. When I was doing the Hatter25, my rule was that I could never draw Alice alone (it being the Hatter25), but with these, I've included them both in the list name, so it's okay. Largish file is largish. Other people use huge canvases, I know, but I don't, so this feels ginormous. And hey - what do you think of the horizontal layout? I was really happy about it, but now I'm not sure... hmm... Alice and Reg designs borrowed from *bri-chan Other sources of inspiration were: ~Valadilenne ~Rain27 ~lily-fox |

1. SO CUTE ANFERKNFE.
2. Whoa. Alice is scary here. o.o
(she might be able to frighten off the Queen of Hearts, me thinks)
3. FROGGIE HATTER OMFG THE CUTENESS IS KILLING ME.
4. Beautiful! 8D (although I do admit I was expecting a clear shot of a butt ribbon, like you've mentioned a few times before XD)
And in my opinion, I'd prefer a vertical alignment. Only because I'm not very used to scrolling horizontally to see the entire thing. :\

And that's just the tip of the iceberg

I'm making a note here:
HUGE SUCCESS."
I don't think I have words to describe how amazing I think you've captured them BEING ANGRY AND FIGHTING. Pretty much any other art I've seen of either one of them being angry has the other expressing a completely opposite expression or reaction. Fights are what real people do in relationships--gets the steam out before calmer waters come along.
OH HELLO THERE TISSOT DRESS you are looking so good tonight
IS this the most amazing coloring technique? Signs point to UM YEAH.
I can't (for teh life of me) find the hidden Mickey!!!! *Cries in teh corner*

"I'm not very used to scrolling horizontally to see the entire thing." Yeah, this is the main reason I was second-guessing the horizontal lineup.

I love drawing angry people. Negative emotions are so much fun, and a lot of people neglect them too much. Draw more hatred and sorrow, won't you?

Are you going to be doing all of the prompts in color? Or in 4s? Do you know ahead of time, or is it a spur of the moment decision? I'm curious to know if you've grouped the prompts together in a certain way.
2. Is she flipping him off?
3. EPIC WIN. She looks amazing, and the elbows are great.
4. I think I would have preferred a different color dress to contrast with her skin tone. But the design and other elements are lovely.
Lastly, I think a vertical layout is far superior.

Penny: Sometimes people are layered like that. There's something totally different underneath than what's on the surface.
Dr. Horrible: And sometimes there's a third, even deeper level, and that one is the same as the top surface one. Like with pie.
I'll do as many in colour as I can manage - hopefully, most of them. The main reason for grouping them is because I don't like flooding my gallery with individual pieces that were done as quickly as these - they stand up much better as a group than they do individually. I picked 4 pretty arbitrarily; it's big enough to look impressive, small enough to be doable for me, and divides the total number up pretty well.
I'm doing the prompts in order, but I didn't arrange them specially, so which ones end up together is totally random. I like that because it stretches my creativity, but I'll end up with some eclectic combinations.
