Other than the golfing excursion, this is probably my favourite scene in Chapter Nine. I ought to have drawn more leaves.
You can't, of course, have known that I've been sketching Alice in this dress lately (which I borrowed from [link] ) but I think she looks lovely in it.
This sketch really needed more cleanup and adjustment, but my back and right shoulder are not treating me excellently at the moment, and doing linework with the tablet is the worst thing of all. So, what you're seeing here is my honest-to-gosh pencil work, plus colour adjustment and texture.
I borrowed a page from ~RustyGrass33's book in choosing to go this sepia-ish route.
Also, I've made the Hatter hawt. I wanted to tell you this - because I could have made him more goofy, but I did not. I made him Hotter Hatter on purpose. I have no regrets.
